“I was satisfied and tickled too when I opened the envelope from MAC that informed me of being a recipient of a 2010 Artist Fellowship. This will assist greatly in finishing and promoting my current album project… Thank you so much for your encouragement and insightful assistance during the grant writing process.”

To present these artists in your community or school, contact them at the number listed by their name. All artists’ fees are negotiable unless stated otherwise in this document.
To request funds to help pay for the artists’ fees, you may apply for a Minigrant or Project Grant in one of the four program areas: Arts Industry, Arts-Based Community Development, Arts in Education and Mississippi Heritage.
In addition to the artists on this roster, organizations may apply for Minigrants to present artists on the roster of another state or regional arts agency or members of the Craftmen’s Guild of Mississippi.
Generally speaking, the presenting organization will determine the program to which you should apply. For example, a school wishing to present an artist will apply in Arts in Education, whereas a blues festival presenting a musician would apply in Mississippi Heritage.
