Dayton Scoggins is a world champion chainsaw sculptor. Children of all ages love to watch him turn a wood log into a wonderful piece of art using a chainsaw. He founded his business, Artistry in Wood, in 2002 and has performed at fairs and festivals around the country. His sculptures are found in private and public collections in every state and in many countries. Scoggins is a featured artist in many schools “Arts Week” programs. He would be a great addition to any event, as his work will mesmerize those in attendance. One of the specialities of Artistry in Wood is the “Stump Job,” in which Scoggins creates sculptures out of stumps on customers’ properties. There are also many public “Stump Job” carvings around the country and in Europe. These sculptures are located at various hotels, golf courses, parks, cemeteries, along highways, mountain resorts, campgrounds and in front of businesses.
