The people and places of the Mississippi Delta come to life in Bob Neill's stories. The Leland native helps to keep the southern storytelling tradition alive. He tells a wide variety of stories about rural life in the Delta, including narratives about hunting, raising animals, and family life. Neill's stories are a way for him to relate his devotion to the Delta landscape, its wildlife and people. They also work to communicate and reinforce the values of the people who live in the region. Neill makes storytelling and public speaking appearances throughout the country. He is also an active writer. He has published nine books, many magazine articles and writes a syndicated weekly newspaper column.
