Arts Commission Headlines

The Mississippi Arts Commission (MAC) will host a series of grant writing workshops around the state, targeting Mississippi-based artists and arts organizations. The workshops will run from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at each location. The schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, January 12, 2010             Waynesboro Public Library, Waynesboro

Tuesday, January 19, 2010             Copiah-Lincoln Community College, Natchez

Tuesday, January 26, 2010             Hernando Public Library, Hernando

Tuesday, February 2, 2010             ITC Building at Holmes Community College, Grenada

Thursday, February 4, 2010              Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center, Ocean Springs

Thursday, February 4, 2010             Flowood Public Library, Flowood

 

At each workshop, MAC staff will present an overview of the agency’s grant programs and other services. This will be followed by an in-depth discussion on how to prepare an application for the agency’s upcoming annual grant deadline on March 1st.  First-time applicants are especially encouraged to attend.
