FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Mississippi Arts Commission (MAC) will hold review panels for its annual grant programs between April 13th and April 28th. MAC brings in arts administrators, artists, and members of the community to review the applications submitted to MAC on March 1st. Panel feedback on the applications is shared with MAC’s Board of Commissioners who make the final funding decisions.
The panel meetings are open to the public. Applicants may attend the meetings, but are not allowed to engage with the panel members. The meetings will take place in the Woolfolk State Office Building in downtown Jackson and will begin at 9:00 am each morning. Panel visitors should check in at MAC’s front desk for the specific room assignments for the panels. Applicants interested in learning what time their application will be reviewed should contact the MAC program director handling their application.
