Jackson -The Mississippi Arts Commission (MAC) will host a series of grant writing workshops around the state, targeting Mississippi-based artists and arts organizations. The workshops will begin at 6:00pm, unless otherwise noted. The schedule is as follows:
Monday, January 9, 2012 The Ellis Theatre, Cleveland, MS
Tuesday, January 10, 2012 Hancock Co. Library, Bay St. Louis, MS
Tuesday, January 17, 2012 Quisenberry Library, Clinton, MS
At each workshop, MAC staff will present an overview of the agency’s grant programs and other services. This will be followed by an in-depth discussion on how to prepare an application for the agency’s upcoming annual grant deadline on March 1st. First-time applicants are especially encouraged to attend. All of the workshops are free and open to the public. Registration is not required.

The Mississippi Arts Commission is a state agency, funded by the Mississippi Legislature, the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mississippi Foundation, the Riley Foundation, the Mississippi Endowment for the Arts at the Community Foundation of Greater Jackson and other private sources.
