Carol Puckett

Carol Todd Puckett is the founder and owner of The Everyday Gourmet, a cooking school and gourmet retail store in Jackson and a companion store, The Everyday Gardener. 

She currently serves as president of the Viking Hospitality Group, a division of Viking Range in Greenwood, Mississippi.

Carol was educated at Converse College in Spartanburg, South Carolina and serves on the boards of directors of Blue Cross Blue Shield, the International Ballet Competition, the Southern Food and Beverage Museum, the Southern Foodways Alliance and the Center for the Study of Southern Culture. 

She is past president of the Junior League of Jackson, the Mississippi Women’s Forum and New Stage Theatre.  When she is not reading, eating, cooking or writing about food, she also enjoys canoeing, hiking and living the life of a Sweet Potato Queen.
